New Mexico Department of Transportation
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is a state government organization which oversees transportation in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The agency has four main focuses - transit, rail, aviation and highways.[1]

The NMDOT is divided into six districts which serve various areas of the state:[2]
Vision statement
The Department has adopted the following vision statement: "The New Mexico Department of Transportation is an international leader. We are inventors and providers of a transportation system that serves everyone."[9]
